Some chocolate and cocoa but these notes are much lighter than the nose. Slight sourness on the finish from the coffee notes. Taste- Starts off with roasted notes that hint at coffee until they build into actual coffee. The glass shows a much more rounder and creamier nose which shows chocolate and cocoa followed by roasted malts. Nose- Starts off with mild but somewhat sharp notes of roasted malts, cocoa, and bubblegum from the bottle. The head is a medium beige while the body is a dark chocolate brown that shows glimmers of garnet when held up to the light. Dec 17, 2016Īppearance- Pours up about a finger's worth of head and has equally lackluster retention. Glad I got the chance to try this one as it is very well constructed. O: Very enjoyable and very easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a smooth mouthfeel.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of roasty bitterness in the finish which slowly fades away. That is followed by moderate flavors of chocolate malts + cocoa and a light to moderate flavor of freshly roasted coffee.

#COOKIE STUMBLER PATCH#
The beer has a half finger tall sudsy foamy dark beige head that reduces to a small to medium sized patch of medium thick film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass.

A: Pours a clear, almost opaque very dark cola brown in color with light amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint reddish amber colored highlights.
